Palermo Defender Simon Kjaer Not Thinking About The Future
Palermo centre-back Simon Kjaer has stated that he barely pays any attention to transfer rumours and just wants to help the Sicilians climb up the standings.
The highly-rated 20-year-old has been frequently linked with a number of top European clubs in recent months, namely Juventus and Liverpool, but he maintains that he remains committed to his present employers.
“I am not thinking about leaving Palermo for the time being,” he told Il Palermo magazine.
“I must keep moving forward and I must get better and better.”
Palermo have impressed so far this term under new boss Walter Zenga, claiming a famous 2-0 win over Juventus last month, but they are without a success in their last two outings.
“We still need to improve and get more consistent,” noted Kjaer.
“The rest will naturally come. Our ideal target is the form we showed in the victory over Juventus.”
