Manuele Blasi Unhappy At Palermo - Agent
The representative of Palermo midfielder Manuele Blasi has revealed the 29-year-old is struggling to come to terms with his peripheral role in Sicily.
“Footballers are obviously unhappy when they don’t play,” agent Davide Lippi told Mediterraneonline.
“Playing football is their job and they feel dejected when that doesn’t happen.
“Then again, he is a professional and will give his all to reclaim his place in the side.”
Blasi joined the Rosanero on loan from Napoli on transfer deadline day last summer. He has made just five substitute appearances so far and press reports claim he could return to base in January.
“Nowadays we talk constantly about the transfer market,” mused Lippi.
“Manuele must get back his place in the Palermo team for the time being.
“I hope he manages that and is given the opportunities he deserves. Then, we’ll see. He is on loan and is still owned by the Azzurri.
“He didn’t play under [former Napoli coach Roberto] Donadoni, but maybe the new boss [Walter Mazzarri] sees football differently and could call him back in January.”
