Chelsea's Jose Bosingwa hoping to avoid knee surgery

Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa is optimistic that he will not require an operation on his injured knee.
He does, however, face an anxious wait whilst Stamford Bridge medical staff consider the best course of action.
The problem in his left knee has kept the Portuguese international out of the last three games for his club. Should an operation be needed, the 27-year-old could be out for a further four weeks.
He travelled to his homeland for tests last week and is now awiting the results.
"It's all up to the doctors, but I'll accept the best solution," Bosingwa said, according to The Daily Express.
